Petr Hlavacek Gallery

Petr Hlavacek is a renowned New Zealand landscapes photographer based on the West Coast of the Southern Alps in the Glacier Country in New Zealand, in the small village of Whataroa, just around the corner from Franz Josef Glacier. Petr’s strong affection with New Zealand landscapes, the South Island’s in particular, grew and he has built an impressive reputation for wonderfully coloured and beautifully composed photographs of wild and pristine landscapes, often in his favourite panoramic format.

Here is his gallery, It is a purpose build destination gallery space on 5.5 acres property in a quiet, secluded, rural setting, outside of the small village of Whataroa on the West Coast of the Southern Alps in New Zealand. Surrounded by native trees with ample of privacy, outdoor sitting and a small boardwalk, there are some spectacular rural and mountain views of the Southern Alps to be enjoyed, as well.
