Punakaiki Beach Camp has many powered and non powered sites available. Either next to the beach, surrounded by native bush or closer to the facilities for the kids. Sites are good sizes and there is plenty of room for the kids to run and play! There is also four magnificent holiday houses to rent and 8 brand new Riverside Cabins, which have amazing views looking up at the Paparoa National Park. These eight cabins offer privacy from the rest of the camp. We also have Ten ‘Quirky’ cabins are dotted around the Punakaiki Beach Camp. Some standard and some with kitchens.
The Punakaiki Beach Camp office has all the information you need to make the most of your time here. Local knowledge is plentiful and with additional help from maps and brochures you will be sure not to run out of activities. The Punakaiki shop is all located in the reception, with a wide range of groceries available for purchase.
Punakaiki Beach Camp offers a wide range of facilities for guests. Including our famous drying room also known as the sauna, keeping our campers warm and dry. We also offer Paparoa Shuttles for any one experiencing the Paparoa Great Walk.
The communal kitchen has a microwave, toasters, fridge and freezers, stoves, zips for hot water and cleaning utensils for guests use. Available at the office are cooking and eating utensils available for hire free of charge for anyone who might have forgotten something. The dining area has a warm fire for those colder days as well as plenty of indoor and outdoor eating space. Hot showers and bathroom facilities are all included in the price at the Punakaiki Beach Camp. All facilities are cleaned daily for your use.
A dump station is available for guests looking to dispose of there camper-van waste. Drinking water is also available at each powered site and opposite the dump station.
